What do you do when you just can’t shake it? You know what I’m talking about. You get in that mood where everything is wrong. You’re stressed out. You’re busy. You start neglecting things like sleep, and proper nutrition, and working out, and you just can’t lose the funk, no matter how many self help books you read. Guess what? It’s okay.
As many of you have probably been able to tell, I’m a little obsessed. I’m also the kind of person who loves feeling spooky, but not TERRIFIED. In a world of “love it or hate it” Halloween people, what do you do when you fall in the middle? Well, that’s why I’m here.
After thinking, I realized that my blog is truly a stress relief for me. Yes, it takes time, but it allows me to have this window of time where I am doing something I still deem productive, but I’m not stressed about (as opposed to doing homework). It’s just for fun.
Now that fall is officially underway, I’m getting the itch to start doing some fall cleaning. To me, this is almost more exciting than spring cleaning. Fall cleaning means getting your house nice and cozy and ready for the chilly weather. Just thinking about colder weather and falling leaves makes me want to gut my entire house and polish the woodwork.
Anyway, I thought it might be fun to swap fall bucket lists! I’ve already gotten started on a bit of mine, but I’m always open to adapting it, so if you have anything you think I should add, let me know!
So there we have it. Clearly, October 3rd is a very special day to me for a multitude of reasons, but even if this wasn’t my wedding date, I’d still be celebrating Mean Girls Day. If anyone sees Tina Fey and wants to direct her to this post, that would be great. I think we’d be great friends.
Apple picking is one of my favorite things to do in the fall. It reminds me of being a kid, because we went every single year, and it’s just so quintessentially autumn. The apples, the cider, the donuts…and you better believe I’m wearing a flannel even if it’s 70 degrees outside.
